Oh No!

The book that I accidentally left off of my 2011 list -- which is such a shame because this book was certainly one worth mentioning:

The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald... my first Fitzgerald and I was not disappointed.

I liked Gatsby (the book not the character). It was a great "what not to do," story and I find those useful on occasion. (And this one is pretty short- which is how I like my tragedies.) Can't call it a favorite, but certainly well worth reading. Excellent writing. Excellent. The themes and moral lessons found in the book are well worth thinking about and discussing as they relate to both society at large and individual families and people. Good stuff. I hope the movie coming out this year HERE will be good. I am betting it will be rated R though :( Boo. So instead you can watch THIS (thanks Alysa!) and read the book! Then call me and we'll talk about it, okay?
