A Story About Stories

This morning I awoke with a sore throat and a cantankerous spirit.
Grumbling through our typical morning routine I went to Jack's backpack to depost his lunch for the day inside. I noticed some papers that I hadn't taken out the day before...
Jack had written some stories! Yes! Could this be the antidote for my current case of crabby?

#1- A Christmas Story

I came home from school (that's him knock-knocking on our front door to be let in) we put up the Christmas tree!! With bells and ribbons

I was filled with joy and we put it up super quickedy quick

It was so fun so I shot my rockets I was so happy

#2 The Class Exchange Party

Mrs. Roundtree got ready for ... the exchange party! I could not

wait for the party. Before we left school my brain was nuts. (In case you can't make it out... that circle in the picture is noted as his brain and you can tell what the contents are I am pretty sure!)

In the evening we had our ... party I got ... 3 things a jack a dragon a nerf gun
(don't you love the use of ...'s for emphasis?!?)

#3 The Snowman

I made a snow man. I went in doors and got my light saber and ... whacked the

my snowman. He crushed he splatters he lost his snow...

I played snow balls. I threw one at my dad and mom. How much fun do you think we had? (the last part got cut off in the picture... sorry!)

#4 The One That Really Cheered Me Up :)

I woke up. I went to my mom's room.

She asked me if I wanted a cough drop.

I said yes. I sucked it. It helped me.

Well. I best be off. There is a day to get going here after all!
