Christmas was a seriously fabulous day. The best of the best.
We didn't leave the house the entire day. We played all kinds of games... anything the boys wanted from Dominoes to Memory and anything else they desired.
We talked, ate yummy food, snuggled, watched Christmas movies, decorated sugar cookies, enjoyed a drop in trip from Ed and Casey bringing Einsteins Bagels, and enjoyed every second of being together. Jack was most enthused about the entire day. Can you tell?
He was so thrilled that he could finally wear his Santa hat.

That night we abandoned plans for my fancy Christmas Eve dinner and opted for a Breakfast Dinner. We love that! After dinner we had our Christmas Eve lesson on the Birth of Christ. Then we started a new tradition. We gave the boys a gift: A New Family Game. We plan to do this every Christmas Eve. We played "Star Wars Trouble," and ate Cotton Candy (Jack's request reluctantly granted by mommy). And I can tell you now that Trouble was a good investment. We have had to limit playing it to Saturday and Sunday because the boys just can't get enough!
Now for some reason my pictures are out of order... woops :) This is me and the boys on Christmas Morning:
