At the end of November Truman and I headed to UT courtesy of my very, very generous brother.
We said goodbye to the fam (Jack was at school):

And then it was just the two of us.
Doesn't Truman look cute taking in the hustle and bustle of the airport?
Most of the flying went extremely well. Flying with a 5 mo. old can be intimidating, but it went as well as can be expected, and I was SO grateful to have him with me.
The last trip to UT I went alone, and I felt weird pretty much the whole time.
It was good to have at least one of my men with me. Plus I was pretty dang excited to show this darling face off:

Cal came and picked me up at the Provo Airport (which is pretty much the BEST in case you are wondering...) and then after a wonderful dinner of salad and bread (which is perfect after a day of flying!) that night we hit the sack.
The next morning... Hurrah Hurrah... we woke up to meet Ada and Talmage! At last, at last!
I have pretty much the cutest niece and nephew on the planet. Did you know?
Here's Ada eating breakfast and being a "blur." I am proud of each and every shot I have that she is not blurry. That girl goes a mile a minute I tell you!

And here is their sweetest thing:
It was so fun to finally get to compare our boys!
Whit and I chat... what... 3 times a week Whit... on average? And of course we have loved having boys just one month apart.
We have been itching and itching to get to hold each others babies, and do all the proper comparisons. They are both incredibly sweet, but both very different in terms of development (Did you know Talmage was basically crawling at 6 mo?!?) and body types (Cal's first comment was "Woah! Look at him! He is huge! He is totally so much bigger than Talmage!" or something to that effect.)
They loved playing with each other:

Later that morning my Aunt Dee came to say hello!
She got to meet True and I got to hear the updates and see pictures of her Grandbabies! So fun! And it was so nice of her to come all the way down to see us!
After that we got a very special treat, and it's called: I got to go to Wednesday Lunch!
Whit and I frequently talk while she is on her drive there, and it was so fun to be in the car this time.
Wednesday lunch was such a treat. Whitney's Grandma Mooney is just so, so sweet. I loved every minute of getting to be at her house and listen to their cute family. I even learned the long-standing history of Wednesday Lunch... and daily Pepsi Parties. Pretty cute!

After Wednesday Lunch we headed to Nat and Kyles!
We got to see Michael (the MAN... when the heck did that happen?!?), Aimee (who sang us a delightful song that she was going to be performing in a neat interfaith program), T, Aunt Shir and Uncle John, Katelyn, Ashley Kayleen, and of course... Auntie and Uncle.

It was so, so good to see everyone. I love my family like crazy. All of them.
It may have felt like a "mean trick," as Whit would say... to only get to see Uncle for about 10 minutes before they had to leave for the airport on a trip to see Alise.
I may have cried. Hard. But at least we got to see them for a little while!
I love you guys!
And now Truman has met most of his name sakes :)
He got "Larsen," in Truman Matthew Larsen Burton from their whole clan. It was too bad we couldn't see Aerika and Alise. But alas... families get bigger and children grow up. Gathering altogether gets harder and harder to do.
Thank you so much to Aunt Shir/Uncle John/Ashley especially for coming all the way out! So nice! And to Auntie and Uncle for hosting all of us!

While at the Larsen's I got to play animals with Ada for a minute. Pretty cute! And this collage shows her infamous "choke hold," pretty well:
Katelyn and Mike started throwing a ball around and they got a few laughs out of Truman:
More cute pictures of the boys.
I love the one with them on Shir and John's laps:

Then we went back to Cal and Whit's house with three very tired babies.
We needed to stop and break up the trip a little (and we may have had some secret business in that place too). So Ada got some chips and a "Succckkkaaa."
Cutest little girl... ever!
