What Brothers Are Good For no. 13

Creativity when toys are at a premium.

Shots taken when most of the toys were packed away. Jack found the toothpicks on our kitchen counter, grabbed some paper, and instantly became a king. Alaster followed his lead and declared himself "Da Keen of Oll Good Sings." (the king of all good things) Jack became the bad guy (I think) and a battle of the bird poppers commenced (Cindy did you know those were the BEST toys you ever got them? They still play with them on an almost daily basis).

There were a lot of good toys made during the moving process. It wouldn't have been necessary except for Alaster who, if you recall, insisted on packing everything in their room as soon as possible.

I am happy to report that we are nearly settled at our new home. Every box has been unpacked and removed, and there is new little boy art hanging on the fridge so to me that means we're officially in.

We. Love. It.

Everything about it. Perhaps I will post pictures and make a list for you. It will include everything from an additional half bath and our very own little backyard/patio area to a darn good shower that heats up enough to basically burn me (my favorite setting... which I could never quite achieve in our last place) and that absolutely gushes the water... neither cost (the heat or the water) we have to worry about. Also our friends that live here... and the tile that makes our kitchen feel "real,".... and the proximity to school and work... and... well you get the idea.

We are happy.

Tune in to the blog tonight to see the cutest darn 6 YEAR OLD the world has ever known!

Happy Birthday to Mr. Jack!

Wow, those pop-guns look amazing! Can you come teach me how to make one--then we can have your boys over again and have a war! ;)

Seriously though, those guns are the best. And that birthday party was amazing. You are giving me good material for when we have some boys!
