Homework

It has begun.

Last year he didn't have any... this year... just a bit.

His homework is pretty low-key at this point as you can imagine. We both enjoy it most of the time. It's been a good bonding thing actually. After dinner he is more prone to talk about school than when he immediately gets home, so we'll sit and he talks to me about what is going on... most of which is just so darn cute and funny.

His little concerns (the very few that he's had) are so adorable. I am so grateful for his desire to do what is right and to please his parents! He is such a good boy!

We also end up being pretty silly together... he makes me giggle doing silly things like writing his name in squiggly letters instead of normal ones. It's just little things like that, but it gets us both laughing and we have a good time.

In the spirit of total honesty, he has had the "I don't want to do this!" attitude some nights... but usually when we get going he is fine.

Here's to... what?... 12 more years of this?

Onward and Upward!
